Ketchup With Us – Overcoming myself.

Michele and Mel asked if there was something I was trying to defeat?

(Oops.  Did I clean the kitchen after dinner?)

I’m not sure if I can think of anything.

(Down Sadie.  I’m trying to write here.)

After all, like every write out there, the words just flow from my mind to my fingers with no problem…

(Was that the cat again?  Buster!)

Distractions!  That’s what I’m trying to defeat.

(Better do those dishes.)

  1. That’s me, too, Gene. These petty distractions are crippling, aren’t they? And, at the end of the day, they’re what I’ve tended to the most, while my original ‘To Do’ list just sits on the counter laughing at me. Squirrel!

    Thanks for linking up!

P.S. I linked you up at the bottom of my Ketchup post. It’s easy. (1) Click the box labeled “Links in Collection. Click to view/add Link.” (2) Then, click the box labeled “Add your Link.” (3) Then, enter your URL, name & email. Thanks, Gene!

  2. It’s me, too. I need to figure out how to turn off the little warning screen at the top of my computer that alerts me to every new email I get. Great post! Thanks for linking up with us!

  3. Oh, distractions. I’ve known too many of them recently, offered up by that nagging self-doubt. Time to banish them! (Will anyone notice if I banish the housecleaning as a distraction? 😉 )
